DSH - Coalinga: Announcements
DSH has established a policy for influenza prevention that requires visitors to either provide proof of influenza vaccination or wear a protective mask while visiting in the hospital. This policy is for the protection of our patients and staff. Those who are unable to provide proof of influenza vaccination will be provided a mask by the hospital. The policy will remain in effect from Nov. 1, 2017, to April 15, 2018. Thank you for your cooperation.
DSH has recently approved the following changes to policy on incoming packages for patients:
- Effective August 1, 2017, a limit of 64 ounces of juice will be allowed, per patient package. Juices received may be in separate containers, but may not be over a combined total of 64 ounces.
- Effective October 1, 2017, the size restriction on packages will increase to 24”x 22”x 16”.
- Effective October 1, 2017, patients will be allowed to receive three family packages and three vendor packages per quarter for the first three quarters of the year, and four family packages and four vendor packages will be allowed in the fourth quarter of the year.
- Effective January 1, 2018, patients will be allowed to receive up to 60 stamps in packages, per quarter.
