DSH - Patton: Family and Stakeholder Resources, Local Advocacy, Neighbor, and Support Groups
The Department of State Hospitals - Patton holds Neighbors Meetings, which are open to the public. The purpose of this meeting is to give the hospital an opportunity to discuss with local neighbors upcoming hospital events and changes. The public will also be able to ask questions regarding any of their concerns. The meetings are held in the Administration Room 103A on the scheduled dates and times listed below.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) at the Department of State Hospitals - Patton
NAMI Patton is a nonprofit, grassroots, self-help, support and advocacy organization of consumers, families, and friends of people admitted to The Department of State Hospitals - Patton with severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and other severe and persistent mental illnesses that affect the brain.
NAMI Patton conducts monthly meetings in Residence One on the third Sunday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. to discuss issues effecting the families and friends of the patients at The Department of State Hospitals - Patton as well as the patients themselves. The organization invites speakers periodically who are experts in mental health and the justice system. NAMI works with the Department of State Hospitals - Patton staff for the benefit of the patients served as appropriate.
NAMI is available to answer questions and provide caregiver support. Everyone is welcome.
