Quarterly Neighbors Meeting

Department of State Hospitals - Patton holds a Quarterly Neighbors Meeting which is open to the public. The purpose of this meeting is to give the hospital an opportunity to discuss with the local neighbors upcoming hospital events and changes. The public will also be able to ask questions and regarding any of their concerns. The meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of each Quarter (unless otherwise designated below) in the Department of State Hospitals - Patton Auditorium and the meeting starts at 7:30 in the evening.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) at Patton

NAMI DSH-Patton is a nonprofit, grassroots, self-help, support and advocacy organization of consumers, families, and friends of people admitted to DSH- Patton with severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and other severe and persistent mental illnesses that affect the brain. The meeting are designed to discuss issues effecting the families and friends of patients who currently reside or who have resided at DSH- Patton. The organization invites speakers periodically who are experts in mental health and the justice system. Monthly NAMI meetings continue to be held on the 3rd Sunday of the of the month from 11:00 – 1:00. Temporarily they are being relocated from Residence 1 to the Old Canteen.
