  1. Are hugs allowed during visits?
    Hugs are allowed at the beginning and the end of the visit. No other contact is allowed.

  2. What is the duration of each scheduled visit?
    Each visit is scheduled for 45 minutes, unless prior arrangement is approved.

  3. What is the schedule for visits - in person and televisit?
    Sunday - Mornings Physical & Afternoon Televisit
    Monday - Televisit
    Tuesday - Physical
    Wednesday - Televisit
    Thursday - Televisit
    Friday - Physical
    Saturday - Physical

  4. Are we able to provide both in person and televisits more frequently? Any proposed change to the current schedule?
    Visiting Times are scheduled from 0900-1100 (Last visit in the morning ends at 1145)
    Afternoon visiting times are 1330-1530 (Last visit in the afternoon ends at 1615)

  5. Food allowed? Drinks allowed?
    DPS does not allow food and drink in the visiting room. Vending machines are for visitors before or after they visit.

  6. Walk-ins allowed?
    No.

  7. Is there a phone number in the Visitor's Center for families to call if needed? (For visit inquiries)
    No, DPS does not have a capability to take phone calls from families, as we are not allowed to confirm if the patient is here.

  8. Are 410 LPS patients handled differently from the other PC visits?
    No, but LPS will be separated from any penal code patient.

  9. Are patients in Program 7 allowed in-person visits?
    No, televisits only.
