DSH - Metropolitan: Southern Youth Correctional Center, Norwalk

The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) has entered into an agreement with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to temporarily use the Southern Youth Correctional Center, Norwalk, to house state hospital patients and provide more bed space at state hospitals, if needed, for patients who test positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to the virus. The agreement to use the facility has been extended to Dec. 31, 2022.
